The Payments Association

The Payments Association (PA) is a membership association of payments industry influencers. The PA’s vision is for the UK to be the global hotspot for payments innovation. Our director Alison Donnelly heads up the PA’s Project Regulator and is a committee member of Women in Paytech while Philip Creed sits on the board of the Project Financial Crime.

The Investment Association

Associate Director, Azariah Nukajam leads fscom’s membership of The Investment Association, the trade body that represents UK investment managers. The association consults on issues affecting the industry, and leads learning, training and development initiatives to ensure compliance with the law and industry best practice. 

Association of Professional Compliance Consultants

We are members of the Association of Professional Compliance Consultants for members who advise firms regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulatory Authority in the UK. Senior Manager, David Norton is a member of the APCC Payment Services working group and member of the Payments Innovation Forum’s Legal & Regulatory working group.

 

Association of Foreign Exchange and Payments Companies

We are members of the Association of Foreign Exchange and Payment Companies (AFEP). AFEP is a non-profit association for Authorised Payment Institutions operating in the European Economic Area. The organisation was founded in 2012 by our MD Jamie Cooke in order to act as a representative body for FX and payment companies.

European Women in Payments Network

Our director Alison Donnelly is the appointed EWPN Ambassador for Ireland. The EWPN aims to promote diversity and inclusion among the European professional community in payments.

Payments Innovation Forum

Senior Manager, David Norton fronts fscom’s membership of Prepaid International Forum, a not-for-profit organisation representing the interests of e-money and payment services providers. Formed over a decade ago, PIF is driven by a mission to promote improvement and stability in the industry, positioning the sector as an essential part of the financial services ecosystem.

Crypto UK

We are members of Crypto UK, the UK’s self-regulatory trade association representing the cryptoasset sector. Crypto UK, comprising leading companies from across the sector, believe that cryptoassets can help enhance the way we undertake financial transactions, to the benefit of consumers, business and security.

FinTechNI

Formed in 2019, FinTechNI is an industry association that aims promote Northern Ireland as a leading global Fintech hub. In 2021, The Kalifa Review identified Northern Ireland as one of the top ten Fintech Clusters in the UK.

We are members of the Investing and Saving Alliance (TISA). Their ambition is to improve the financial wellbeing of all UK consumers by working collectively with the financial services industry to deliver solutions and champion innovation, for the benefit of people, our industry, and the nation.
